Current Projects

 

v     ‘Freedom of Mind’: is a musical album project aimed at inspiring young Nigerians towards patriotism by cultivating an optimistic mind set, a positive self image and love for our father land through the positively inspiring songs from some of our best musicians.

 

v     ‘Rock Against Drugs Abuse’: this project is a youth-for-youth initiative aimed at mobilizing and encouraging young people to stand up and play active roles in the fight against drug and substance abuse amongst their peers.

 

v     ‘Faith 2 Faith Jam’: the aim is to bring together and empower young people with practical information and mental reorientation so they can begin to combat the spread of tribal and religious intolerance and xenophobic sentiments within their communities and to promote cohesion and understanding for peaceful co-existence, using music and other creative media programs targeting Christian and Muslim youths.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • To provide capacity building platforms for the integral development of talented young people.

  • To promote decent productivity and uphold the dignity of the human person in the arts, culture and the media.

  • To contribute to the positive development of the entertainment and tourism industries for sustainable per capita incomes and economic growth for young artists.

  • To bring to fore the roles and responsibilities of creative individuals in articulating and promoting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and other development issues through their works.

  • To champion a positive cultural and intellectual revival in the arts, culture and media.

  • To foster solidarity and synergy between young people, youth and cultural organizations, key stakeholders and the regulatory agencies in the entertainment and tourism sector.
